The Junior Concert on Monday March 10th was a great success. Every child from Year 3 to Year 6 took part. The concert opened with two lively pieces from the Junior Orchestra, where members are drawn from all years.

This was followed by a wide variety of items, performed by whole year groups, smaller ensembles such as the flute group, and soloists on a wide range of instruments.

The evening finished with every child singing ‘We are the Young’, a stirring anthem for youth that had several members of the audience quite moved.

I would like to thank all Junior Staff for their support, and especially Mr James and Mr Eastwood in the Music Department.

There were also some superb performances at a Junior Musical Soiree on Friday, enjoyed by parents and friends in the Chapel.
