Farringtons Prep School is set in 25 acres of beautiful grounds, an ideal location between the Kent countryside and the London metropolis.
Our onsite Forest School is a wonderful learning environment, in which children in every year group across the Prep School can develop their imagination, critical thinking and learn to manage risks in an unpredictable and challenging space.
This experience helps foster a love of nature and the outdoors, educating our pupils to value and cherish the stunning woodland area that we are so lucky to occupy.
The children use tools, climb trees, dig the ground, and learn to cook on our fire pit. They work cooperatively to problem solve and create solutions in a systematic manner.
The skills learnt at Forest School have a direct impact on in-class learning, providing a platform for pupils to develop skills for life.
Getting muddy, building shelters, using tools and toasting marshmallows are just some of the experiences our pupils enjoy at Forest School.
