WYVERN house
Our new mixed boarding house launched in September 2025, featuring vibrant facilities within the main school building. These spaces are specifically designed to nurture independence and foster a strong sense of community. This development allows boys and girls to reside in dedicated spaces with separate bedrooms, bathrooms, and shower facilities, while enjoying shared access to communal areas such as the common room and kitchen.
Why is Farringtons considered a “second home” for pupils?
For over a century, Farringtons has been a haven for boarders, providing the time, space and dedicated care students need to flourish. Our boutique-style boarding, coupled with unwavering pastoral support and experienced house staff, ensures our students excel academically and grow into well-rounded individuals. We understand the importance of a nurturing environment, a “second home” where happiness and well-being are paramount. Parents can be confident their children are receiving a holistic education, shaping both their minds and characters.
How does boarding help pupils build essential life skills?
Living in our boarding house empowers students to develop essential life skills. Independence, confidence and compassion are nurtured within a diverse “family” of peers from various ages, nationalities and backgrounds. Meaningful connections are forged, creating a supportive network that extends beyond the classroom. Whether families are near or far, our location just outside London offers a unique blend of serene campus life and easy access to the vibrant capital.
