What age can my child join Farringtons School?

We welcome children from age three into our Pre-Reception classes and children join or transfer to Reception in September of the year they turn five.

What literacy programme will my child be part of?

The Little Wandle Phonics Scheme provides a strong foundation for reading and writing development. Additionally, your child will participate in the Creative Literacy Explorers Programme, fostering a love of reading and developing early literacy skills.

Will my child be able to stay beyond the school day?

We provide before and after school care from 7.00am to 6.30pm. Children can relax or participate in a variety of activities, including chess, gymnastics, gardening, dance, taekwondo and Spanish.

Is outdoor learning important at Farringtons?

Absolutely! Outdoor play is vital in developing essential skills such as critical thinking and risk management, as well as instilling love for nature. With 25 acres of grounds, Farringtons offer ample opportunities for sport, play and Forest School. Getting muddy, building shelters and toasting marshmallows is all part of the experience.
