ART HISTORY

There are places available for students to study an additional A level or Extended Project Qualification in Art History outside of school through the Art history Link Up at the Courtauld Gallery. This does not replace any A level in school, but might give interested, organised and ambitious students a chance to extend their learning at a higher level and obtain an additional qualification.

Some of the teaching happens on Saturdays, but it is not all day and the students should really enjoy the experience. The extra work they will do with experts outside school may certainly filter into their work in other subjects in school.

WRITING CAMPS

Online summer writing camps for any pupils interested in poetry, rap, storytelling, and song writing. A half hour Zoom taster session can be booked via: www.kingkimba.com for £7.50, which includes a first poetry book and a guided writing exercise for parents of and pupils to gauge if they would enjoy the hour long future session. The sessions will be age appropriate and have designated groups. They will also experiment a bit with AI image generation to develop an image to represent their work.
