WHAT IS THE Farringtons Parents’ Association

The Farringtons Parents’ Association (FPA) is a vibrant network of parents dedicated to enriching the lives of our children at Farringtons. Through their tireless volunteer efforts, they organise exciting fundraising events throughout the year, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

Imagine laughter-filled fun at our summer fair, the magic of our Christmas market, or the thrill of our spectacular fireworks night – these are just a taste of the events the FPA brings to life. In addition, they run a well-stocked uniform shop, offering new and pre-loved items to support families.

What have they funded?

However the FPA’s impact goes far beyond fun events. Their dedication translates into tangible improvements for our pupils. As a result of their fundraising efforts, they have funded a variety of projects across the school, these are just some examples of the projects the FPA has helped to fund:

LEGO robotics kits for the Prep School
Sensory nooks in the Prep School
Wellbeing pod in the Prep School
Pool table in Wyvern House
Prep School garage murals
Kitchen garden
Indoor Cricket nets in the Sports Hall
Refurbishment of the Early Years outdoor playground
Refurbishment of the Library in the Senior School
Interactive whiteboard systems in both the Prep School and Senior School
Provision of wi-fi tablets for Senior School pupils taking BTEC Physical Education and Business Studies
Equipment for the Senior School Duke of Edinburgh Award schemes
New sound systems for both Ferens Hall and the School Chapel
Events ranging from Santa visits to Drama workshops
