Sixth Formers Explore Sussex University
Our Sixth Form students had a fantastic and insightful trip to the University of Sussex this week. They explored campus life and got a real feel for what university study is like! Read more about this trip from Leo in Year 12:
My trip to the University of Sussex was a great and very informative experience that I valued deeply. During the day, I was able to experience student life on campus and visit many of their facilities. A personal favourite of mine was their three-floor library, which had an impressive range of diverse books.
One of the many positives during my trip was learning more about the social aspect of university life, which was something that I had heard about but not in depth. However, through this trip, I found out about the different societies I could join, where I could meet people that shared similar interests and make friends.
I was also given great advice from students on campus during a presentation on topics such as dorm life, exam timetables, choosing your course, and managing stress. Overall, my experience was very positive and increased my confidence about my future educational endeavours.
