Exploring Futures: A Week of Career Inspiration at Farringtons
This week, Farringtons pupils immersed themselves in a dynamic programme celebrating National Careers Week, designed to spark ambition and illuminate potential pathways.
Furthermore, we also held our annual Careers Speaker Event, which was our biggest yet. Eleven guest speakers from industries including media, construction, medicine, occupational therapy, sport, the civil service and accounting shared their experiences. They enjoyed giving pupils advice and valuable insight into different career paths.
Additionally, extending the career exploration journey, we welcomed Year 5 and 6 pupils from Farringtons Prep School to an event in the Chapel. This engaging session aimed to introduce younger pupils to the vast landscape of career possibilities, fostering early awareness and curiosity.
MOCK CAREERS INTERVIEWS
Looking ahead, our Year 12 students are preparing for mock interviews next week, conducted by our dedicated parent volunteers. Ultimately, this vital experience will provide them with invaluable practice in interview techniques, building confidence and equipping them for future applications.
In conclusion, the week was a resounding success, filled with inspiration and engagement. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of Careers Week.
