Cultural Carnival Day Celebrations

The atmosphere in school for the Cultural Carnival Day was simply out of this world. Children were invited to wear traditional dress or clothing of a particular nation/ community for the day. We all came together to celebrate the rich and diverse society we live in, it was wonderful to see our future generation of citizens all embracing the exciting and vibrant workshops that we had on offer: Bollywood dancing, African Drumming, Origami and Maypole dancing to name but a few. Everyone enjoyed participating in the mini carnival at the end of the day and listening to the performances, particularly the Steel Pan ensemble.
