Coronation celebrations have begun at Farringtons School today! The whole school was abuzz with celebrations to mark the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.
In the Junior School the children looked fantastic dressed up in red, white and blue. In Pre-Reception they spent the day decorating crowns and making flags and in Reception they made peg soldiers. At lunchtime we all came together for a picnic for the children to enjoy and at the end of the day the children took home a balloon to celebrate this historic event.
In the Senior School the children enjoyed their lunch fit for a King, with the official coronation quiche and coronation cookies in the decorated Dining Hall, with our Head Boy, Head Girl from both the Junior and Senior School and pupils proudly cutting our celebration cake.
