After a nervous wait, the Year 11 GCSE results were finally revealed. Staff were delighted with the overall results of Year 11, but more importantly of the individual successes, who, for many exceeded their expectations.
Head, Mr David Jackson, said: “Many congratulations to our Year 11 pupils and their teachers on today’s fantastic set of GCSE results; we are all enormously proud of what they have achieved. Not only have the pupils coped with considerable uncertainty over the past year and shown tremendous determination and resolve, but they have also worked incredibly hard and sat far more assessments than would normally be the case. Their amazing grades are thoroughly deserved and are a wonderful reflection of the young men and women we have at Farringtons. I very much look forward to welcoming them back as Sixth Formers in September and to their continued success in the future”.
