On the 8th February over 60 Sixth Form students from four local schools gained valuable insights into future career paths thanks to the Big Apprenticeship Breakfast hosted by Farringtons School. The event, organised by Mrs. Miah, Head of Careers, aimed to connect students with diverse apprenticeship opportunities offered by six inspiring businesses.
Opening the event, MP Sir Robert Neill delivered an impactful address, emphasising the UK's commitment to nurturing high-quality apprenticeships through collaboration between employers, training providers, and schools. This resonated with the attending students, eager to explore their futures beyond traditional university routes.
Connecting Students with Real-World Opportunities:
Throughout the breakfast, six businesses showcased their apprenticeship programs across various sectors, including engineering, finance, healthcare, and policing. Students actively engaged with company representatives, asking questions about specific roles, application processes, and career journeys within each industry.
