Ferens Hall

Ferens Hall is named after Mr T Ferens who was one of the original Governors who founded Farringtons in 1911 and who generously gave much of the money for the new buildings built in 1925.

This beautiful wooden oak-panelled assembly hall is now used for a variety of events including School Concerts, Plays, Careers Conventions, Parents’ Consultation Evenings and Public Examinations.

The handsome portrait of Queen Mary, which hangs above the stage, is a constant reminder of the favours bestowed upon Farringtons by our benefactor.
