REWARDS AND PUNISHMENTS

The School operates a system of Merit Marks for good work, behaviour and contribution to school life. Merit Marks are then totalled termly and a Cup awarded to the Winning House. Individual girls can be awarded certificates termly for achieving a high number of Merit Marks.

In West House, there are weekly rewards for the tidiest room and all girls are praised for their achiemements.

Occasionally, girls might make mistakes, and on these occasions, Staff may impose minor punishments which are recorded and inspected regularly.

There is a detention system for girls make more serious mistakes, or who are repeatedly being reprimanded.
