YEAR 7 REVISION
Here are some hints on how to revise. Revision is a very individual thing, you have to find a technique that works for you. Over the years I have found that the following method works for most people.
1. Make sure that you have plenty of paper, some people like to have a revision file or they produce their own revision cards. You should also have your text book, an atlas and your neat book open.
2. Read through your class notes and the appropriate chapter in the text book, make your own key facts by looking at the main points, the words in dark print should help you here, remember to use the glossary.
3. Draw diagrams, pictures and make up rhymes to help you learn the key points. Some people like to make posters to put around their bedrooms!
4. Write yourself little tests.
5. Get a patient person to help you and test you on what you have learnt.
6. Make sure that you produce a revision programme well before the exams so that you have plenty of time for all your subjects. The more times that you go through a topic the more confident you will become.
