FURTHER INFORMATION
Visitors
Parents and guardians are very welcome to visit you outside school hours, but must contact a member of the House Staff to arrange a suitable time, as girls can be very busy doing other activities when they are not in school! All visitors should report to East House reception in the first instance.
Laundry
Each girl will be given a blue laundry box and two net laundry bags. In the morning girls should bring any dirty laundry downstairs and put it in the laundry bags ready to be washed. After school, girls should collect their clean laundry and put it
away. The box should be put in the laundry room each morning for clean clothes to be put into. All clothes should be clearly named.
Electronic Equipment
Students may bring personal laptops, stereos, CD players, IPods or similar articles, but the School will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage. All laptops must be checked and approved by the Network Manager before use. All parents are advised to insure any personal items of value.
Bedrooms
Girls of all nationalities may share a room. Most rooms accommodate 2 girls, although there are a couple of rooms that sleep up to 4. Depending on numbers and rooming arrangements, girls may request who they would like to share a room with. The House Staff do their best to meet all requests, but it is not always possible.
Weekend Visits
When going out for the weekend or other occasions not organised by the school, a Weekend Visit Permission Form must be completed. This should be done by the Wednesday before the visit and must be signed by a parent or guardian. Girls must not travel to London unaccompanied, but be collected from School by their parents or Guardian.
Girls are allowed to go shopping in Chislehurst and Bromley in Groups (numbers depending on Year group), with the permission of a housemistress.
