On Tuesday 28th March, a biannual Careers Conference was held in Ferens Hall. There were a number of representatives from different professions including Law, Beauty & Therapy and Medical professions such as Midwifery and Nursing. Kate Helm, the Personal Advisor from Connexions was also available for guidance and advice throughout the evening.

There were also presentations on a variety of career opportunities, which were very interesting. We spent the evening chatting and asking questions to the different representatives, which was very useful.

I am sure all the students who attended would agree that it gave us a closer insight into all of the different careers that are available to us. We would like to thank on behalf of all the girls, Mrs Cliff for organising this event and to other members of staff involved. We would also like to thank all of the parents and representatives from each profession who gave up their time to discuss our future careers.
