'Our English lessons are very interesting, because everybody gets involved, and the teacher interacts with every individual.' Year 10 pupil

On Tuesday 19th January, 11T held an assembly on climate change and how it is affecting animals. We found out about animals that are now endangered as a result of global warming. After painting our faces as the animal of our choice, we went on stage and spoke about them; ranging from monkeys to giant pandas. We found out that the polar bears are now coming further south to find food, resulting in ‘Grolars’ a mix of a polar bear and a grizzly!
It was a fun assembly for us to perform to the School and we learnt a great deal and hope many others can see that what we do not only affects us, but animals too.
