Weekly Bulletin - 21st September 2007

FIZ CLUB EVENING ACTIVITIES
In addition to the Key Stage 3 football sessions open to Year 6 on Wednesday evenings, there are now two Football Clubs on Tuesday evenings.  There is an Infant group trained by Ms Bloomfield and a Junior group trained by Mr Ruffle.  The Infant and Junior Clubs run from 4.00 to 5.00pm each Tuesday during term time.

There will be a Cookery Club for children in Years 3 & 4 starting next November (after the half term holiday).  It will take place on Monday evenings between 4.00 and 5.00pm.  Places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you wish your child to participate, please telephone Mrs Rimmer on 07800 511745 as soon as possible so as to avoid disappointment.

PUPIL CONTACT INFORMATION FORMS
If you have not already done so, please return a completed Pupil Contact Information sheet for your child as without delay.  Copies available from the Junior office or from the admin. desk in the Junior School Hall.

NEXT WEDNESDAY’S INFORMAL PARENTS’ MEETING
Parents and guardians are asked to ensure that the form regarding the meeting next Wednesday evening, 26th September at 7.30pm, is completed and returned no later than Monday morning, thank you.  The evening offers the opportunity to meet with members of the Parents’ Association and Parents’ Forum Committee.

FRENCH MAGAZINE
Mrs Cliff will place her order with the publisher next MONDAY – if you wish your daughter to receive a copy of the magazine, we must have your request no later than 9.00am Monday morning – there is an extra slip at the bottom of this Bulletin if you have misplaced the earlier one…

DECEMBER SKI TRIP
The final payment of £230 for the December ski trip should have been received by Mrs Long last Friday. If you have not already paid, please send in the money on Monday morning.  Cheques should be made payable to Farringtons School and put in an envelope marked for Mrs Long’s attention.  Thank you.

CLOTHING
Please ensure all items belonging to your child are CLEARLY named.  Regrettably we are already holding a pile of un-named items – some look as if they were bought new for this term.  Please apply to the Junior Hall if your child has mislaid an item.
