WEDNESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER
Thank you to the parents of all Year 1 to Year 6 pupils who were able to come to the informal meetings last Wednesday evening. I hope that you found them both helpful and informative.
SATURDAY 15 SEPTEMBER
We are hoping for good weather and an excellent turn-out for our Open Morning tomorrow. We really appreciate pupils and parents coming in to support this important event in the school calendar. Please do not hesitate to recommend our school to possible pupils and their parents.
WEDNESDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
Parents with children in the Foundation Stage classes (Pre-Reception and Reception) are invited to come to meetings with their children’s class teachers next Wednesday, 19 September. The meetings will take place in the relevant classrooms starting at 7.00pm.
Year 1 pupils are having their first outing of the academic year next Wednesday. A trip to Sainsbury’s in Chislehurst is on the agenda. They will be looking at the Produce Department as part of their current Design and Technology Topic work.
SUNDAY 23 SEPTEMBER
Not long now before the Year 6 children undertake their week-long visit to the Isle of Wight. Further details about the excursion should be brought home by every Year 6 pupil this evening.
CONTACT DETAILS FORM
If you have not yet completed and returned the Contact Details Form sent home last Friday, please could you arrange for it to be brought into school next Monday? If the form has been mislaid, please ask for a replacement from the Junior School Office.
EVENING FOOTBALL ACTIVITY
Mr Attridge, one of the teachers in our Senior Department extends an invitation to girls in Year 6 to join his Key Stage 3 Football Club. This happens on Wednesday evenings in or near the Sports Hall from 4.00 – 5.00pm. If your daughter would like to join, please contact the Junior School Office.
SECONDARY SCHOOL ENTRY
Mrs James would be grateful for the prompt return of completed Secondary School forms that were issued to Year 6 parents last Wednesday.
