Many of our Year 5 and some Year 6 pupils went to France last weekend.  They had a wonderful time and are in the throes of preparing a special assembly for the parents next Friday, 19^th October at 8.40am in the Junior Hall.

The School Photographers have confirmed that copies of the individual and sibling group photographs taken last Tuesday will be with parents shortly after the half term holiday.

 

Should you wish to order a copy, please return the envelope with the appropriate amount as soon as possible.  The deadline for orders is next Friday, 19^th October.

 

The deadline for the next edition of Focus on Farringtons is 2.00pm next Tuesday, 16 October.  Issues should be distributed next Friday.

 

Some Harvest gifts have already been gratefully received.  If you have any suitable gifts, please bring them to the Junior School Hall.  It would be helpful if they could be received by Monday 15^th October in time to decorate the Chapel.  This year we are collecting NON PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS (e.g. packets & tins) with a shelf-life beyond Christmas 2007 and TOILETRIES.  These will be distributed by the Whitechapel Mission to those in need, as part of its work among homeless people.

We look forward to seeing many parents and friends at the Service next Wednesday morning, 17^th October, at 8.40am in the School Chapel.

 

Year 6 parents are kindly asked to return outstanding forms by next Monday.  The meeting, which is regarding entry into our Senior School, will be taking place on Wednesday morning, 7^th November from 9.00 – 10.00am.

 

There should be two pieces of information from the FPA accompanying this mailing, one relates to the Christmas Market and the other to a Fundraising Gift Wrap Sale.  Please ask in the Office if you have not received these.

 

Following a very successful response last year, we will be repeating “My School Christmas Cards”.  The information will come home next week in plenty of time for the cards to be printed for Christmas mailing.
