FRESH IDEAS, TRADITIONAL VALUES
If children are happy and willing to throw themselves wholeheartedly into all areas of School life, they are very likely to fulfil their potential. This is a very simple philosophy but one which forms the central ethos of our School. Children, staff and parents work together within an atmosphere of open communication, trust and respect to ensure the highest standards of education and care.
The development of self-confidence, self-esteem and teamwork are critical elements of our day-to-day life. Naturally, academic progress and achievement are high priorities but we also place tremendous emphasis on shaping pupils’ personalities through the broader curriculum.
All of our boys and girls (whatever their ability) are offered the opportunity of participating in sporting activities, musical concerts and dramatic productions. There are high expectations of behaviour; in particular, courtesy and consideration for others to help to ensure that the children leave the Junior School as balanced individuals, fully prepared and enthusiastic for life in our Senior School.
