foundation stage - pre-reception/reception
academic programme

The Foundation Stage is the first part of the National Curriculum focussing on children aged 3 to the end of reception year.  The philosophy underpinning the Foundation Stage curriculum is that learning should be structured with an emphasis on fun, relevant and motivating activities.

We understand that you want the very best for your child.  We appreciate the importance of childhood and how the learning and development in the early stages of your child's education are critical for setting positive attitutudes and a joy for learning, which will continue throughout his or her school life.

We offer an exciting, enjoyable and stimulating environment, meeting individual needs and ensuring your child is happy, secure and reaching his or her full potential.

Pre-reception children may stay for full days or choose between five mornings or five afternoons each week.  Reception children are expected to be at school for five full days each week.
