Farringtons is pleased to offer an extended day facility for Junior pupils.
Pupils are able to learn new skills and participate in extra-curricular activities in a safe, friendly environment, until parents or carers are able to collect them.
All staff are fully qualified and the Manager has been registered by OfSTED for after school care.
Breakfast Club
A supervised Breakfast Club operates in the School Dining Room from 7.30am, after which pupils will be accompanied to the Junior School, where they will be supervised until the start of the school day. The daily cost for this service, including breakfast, is £4.00 per day on an ad hoc basis.
After School Club
After School care is offered until 6.15pm.
From 4.00—5.00pm, there are a variety of activities on offer. Your child may attend these activities even if parents do not require the extended day. If parents wish their children to remain in school and not participate in the activities, they may relax and socialise with other children and will be encouraged to complete homework in our "quiet time". The cost per session is £7.00 until 5.00pm. If you would like your child to stay later until 6.15pm, then there is an additional cost of £3.00 per session. Refreshments will be provided.

We also have a range of lunch time clubs, sports practices and matches, music rehearsals etc., for which there is no extra charge.
All pupils are welcome to attend provided they have booked in advance and a Registration Form has been completed. Parents may book for one or more sessions per week e.g. one night per week for the term, or five nights a week.
As with most schools, we provide cover for emergency situations as they arise.
